New changes for this year's Spring Sale!

  • New Drop off times. This sale, the drop off times will be Friday and Saturday only (February 26-27).  However, the hours have extended.  Drop off hours will be from 8am-8pm on both days.  That's still 24 hours of drop off time for your convenience.

  • Hugs & Kisses originally decided to no longer accept checks.  However, we have just recently added a feature to our credit card machines that allows us to verify all checks before accepting them.  Therefore, we will be accepting checks in addition to cash, debit and credit cards.

  • No removal of hangers.  Hangers will only be removed when check out lines are short.  This will make the check out process faster and more pleasant for customers.

  • No bagging of items.  The exception will be that only small items will be bagged.  This too, will speed up the check out process.  However, we will have an alternative to bagging that will be available at our sale but you must attend to find out what that is...(that's called a "tease" in the business.)

  • The deadline for entering items has moved up to the middle of the week.  In the past, we have let the deadline extend through the drop-off weekend.  However, due to the increasing size of our sale and the tens of thousands of items on the sale floor, we must have all items entered in earlier.  This is absolutely necessary for organizational purposes - we set up our store layout based on the items entered.  And in order to be more efficient in our store layout, this change was required.  So for you consignors who procrastinate until the last minute to enter in your items...well, the last minute for this sale is Wednesday, February 24 @ 11:59pm.  So get busy!

  • $5 Consignor Fee - This is our 8th sale and the first ever with a consignor fee.  The reason for the fee is to provide an incentive for volunteering.  We believe we are the best sale in the area for several reasons.  Some of those reasons are because consignors can make so much more money with us due to our location, extended hours, payout percentage, and the reputation we have as a consignment sale.  We want to continue to be the "Best Sale in the Sandhills," but that requires many more volunteers.  For us to provide a four day public sale, a one day private sale, 24 hours of drop off time, and 8 hours of pick-up time...that requires a lot of volunteer hours.... 280 shifts to be exact.  So with that many shifts needing to be filled, we have provided an incentive to our volunteers...no consignor fee for you.  If you volunteer for one shift (3 hours), you are given your $5 consignor fee back to you at the conclusion of your shift and yes, you still get to shop before consignors.  If you choose to volunteer for two shifts, you not only get your money back, but you get to shop the earliest, before consignors and regular volunteers.
